After being heavily involved in Barack Obama’s presidential campaign, Eva Longoria is looking local and supporting Kate Anderson for LAUSD School Board in Los Angeles.

On Wednesday (February 20), the “Desperate Housewives” star headed to campaign headquarters, where she pushed for her candidate in a white top, matching jacket, jeans, and strappy heels.

Using her star power to earn votes, the 37-year-old actress stated, “I am voting for Kate Anderson because she has the strength and knowledge to put these students first and ensure they have access to the quality of schools they deserve.”

Keeping busy, Ms. Longoria also kept up on her Hollywood duties as she attended the Vanity Fair And Juicy Couture Celebration of the 2013 Vanities Calendar in West Hollywood earlier this week.
