For once, Kim Kardashian isn’t the Kardashian sister with the shocking news. Kim’s older sister Kourtney, who used to co-star with Kim on “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” and now has her own show “Kourtney & Khloe Take Miami,” is pregnant with her first child. And suffice to say, this wasn’t exactly a planned pregnancy…

Speaking to E! about the surprising news, Kourtney revealed, “We were in the Everglades and I kept feeling nauseous and sick. I just kept thinking something wasn’t right… I went to the doctor and he confirmed the news. I was just so shocked.”

As for when the baby will join the rest of the Kardashian clan, Kourtney said it will be “right around Christmas time.” Kourtney Kardashian added that her mother is “really excited.”

And while that’s a revealing detail about what’s going on behind closed doors at the Kardashian household, it’s not exactly the detail that anyone cares about – which is who the father is. Kourtney initially wouldn’t say, though she was previously linked to Scott Disick. The couple broke up in January but they’ve been spotted out on the town several times since then, including during a recent trip to the Hamptons in July where they dined out together. According to a source that spoke to People magazine, at the time, Disick introduced Kourtney as his girlfriend to someone who stopped by their table.

Now, despite her mother’s protests, Kourtney has gone and confirmed the identity of the baby’s father. In an appearance this morning on the “Today Show,” Kourtney couldn’t resist the temptation to blurt out the happy news. When Hoda Kotb asked whether she was keeping his identity a secret, he responded, “I’ll say if you want me to!”

Kathy Lee Gifford, a friend of her mother, Kris Kardashian, admonished the reality star saying, “Your mother said not to say!” But Kourtney defied her mother’s wishes and confirmed that it is indeed Scott Disick, and the pair are back together. The imformation was supposed to be reserved for her show’s premiere on Sunday. Oh well…
