The former glamour model struggling with names for her baby girl

Katie Price has revealed what names she almost chose for her baby daughter before settling on Bunny.

The mum-of-five has admitted she had a few ideas – including Duchess, Precious and Bambi – had they were all ruled out for a number of reasons, with husband Kieran Hayler hating a few of her suggestions.

“At one point I wanted to name her “Disney”, but I didn’t really want her growing up thinking she’d been named after a theme park,” she wrote in an extract of her new book Reborn, serialised by The Sun.

“I liked old-fashioned names like “Ethel” and “Peggy” too, but the danger was that she might sound like one of the characters in EastEnders.”

The couple eventually settled on Bunny, but they’d left it so late they actually had a letter reminding them to register the moniker.

However, it wasn’t quite done there as Katie – who admitted she doesn’t “give a toss what other people thought” about the name – wasn’t sure how they should spell it.

She said: “Then I couldn’t decide whether to spell her name Bunni with a heart above the “i” but Kieran pointed out that probably wasn’t even part of the English language. So Bunny it is.”

It comes after she blasted ex Dwight Yorke for being part of their son Harvey’s life , and being “unable or unwilling” to accept his Prader-Willi syndrome which causes him to experience a chronic feeling of hunger.

“It’s sad that [Dwight] is unable to accept Harvey for who he is and seems unable or unwilling to work within his limitations,” she wrote in the book.

“I think Dwight wanted to blame someone for the fact that his son is disabled. I have always said that if Dwight could see what a courageous and talented boy Harvey is then he would enjoy being with him so much.”
