We hope you didn’t get all starry-eyed and daydream-y after reading that Jennifer Aniston and Bradley Cooper had been spotted meeting for a romantic dinner in Washington D.C. We know it sure sounded great – all that flowing blonde hair, blue eyes and toothy smiles – unfortunately, it never happened.

Bradley Cooper’s rep has hit back at the rumor saying, “It didn’t happen, they were not there together. Bradley was there on a stop-over from his USO tour.”

It makes sense that a rumor about a romantic dinner between Cooper and Aniston isn’t true, as a source close to Aniston recently revealed that Jen only sees Bradley as a friend. Speaking to People magazine the source said, “They get along really well, but Jen only likes him as a friend. She can’t see herself dating him.” Of course not. A blonde, blue-eyed guy named Brad? So not her type.

It seems that getting linked to Jennifer Aniston is pretty much the curse of any male co-star that has the pleasure of working with her. Just recently, Gerard Butler, who stars with Aniston in the upcoming film, “The Bounty,” hit back at reports that he and Aniston were romantically involved. Said Butler, “That is just annoying. People say I’m always dating so and so, and sometimes it’s three in one day. I’m trying to make movies, work hard and do my best. Then this kind of thing happens and people start to associate me more with that. It gets ridiculous.” But Butler only had lovely things to say about Aniston saying, “She is one classy lady. Everyday I go to work with her I’m always surprised about how cool, easy and down to earth and real she is.”

Aniston’s co-stars better get used to it…if they want to work with that “classy lady,” they’d better be prepared to get linked to her.
