Since she’s apparently determined to squeeze every last second out of her remaining 15 minutes of fame, we have an idea for a truce between former Miss California, Carrie Prejean, and the legions of people offended by her anti-gay-marriage beliefs. That’s fair, isn’t it?

Amazingly, despite her dismissal from Donald Trump’s Miss Universe organization last month, and despite the fact she’s a lightning rod for controversy, it seems the folks at California’s Del Mar Racetrack thought it would be a good idea to have the hot-button model perform a rendition of Bing Crosby’s “Where the Turf Meets the Surf” at this weekend’s opening day. Evidently, Denise Richards and her lovely singing voice weren’t available.

Great idea guys
