If you’re going to host a big summer party for your family and friends, why not throw in a wedding to go along with it?

Tying the knot with his girlfriend of 8 years in a small ceremony held earlier today, Mark Wahlberg finally said “I do” to the mother of his 3 kids, model Rhea Durham. Held at the Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Beverly Hills, the couple exchanged vows during a 45 minute ceremony attended only by their children and roughly a dozen friends and family members. According to one attendee quoted by, “[Rhea] looked like a princess and beyond stunning. Mark looked ecstatic.” The couple announced their engagement last October.

Meanwhile, on the other side of the country, “Heroes” star Ali Larter wed her boyfriend of 2 years, actor Hayes MacArthur, in what’s described as an “intimate ceremony” in Kennebunkport, Maine. According to, wedding guests (which included Larter’s “Varsity Blues” co-star, Amy Smart) arrived on trolleys, with the nuptials taking place outdoors on the estate of MacArthur’s family home. The couple met in 2007 while filming the movie “National Lampoon’s Homo Erectus” together.

“Since I was 15 years old, all I wanted was to find the guy I was going to marry,” Larter told Cosmopolitan Magazine in January. “My heart got broken so many times because I put so much pressure on it. And then….I got blindsided. [Hayes] showed me the way, and all was right. This is how it’s supposed to be.”

Ain’t love grand?
